NOCES & OPUS 40

Two ballets which celebrate the important moments of life. Noces (2003) portrays marriage, from the emotional deflagration of the celebration to that particular moment which characterises the ends of festivities, the restoration of order after chaos. As for Opus 40 (2000), this piece without a narrative framework is an ode to youth which invites us to retrace our steps to the imagination of our childhood, there to find lost sensations, the first feelings of the flesh.
