Imprevus 1

For the first Imprevus sessions of the 2018/2019 season, the Ballets de Monte- Carlo’s Atelier is giving pride of place to young people, and invites you in to sample the work of students from the Princess Grace Academy. The Academy was founded in 1975 and joined the Ballets de Monte-Carlo in 2009. The aim is to enhance the Academy’s pre-professional aspect and to allow its multinational study body to perfect their training between the ages of 13 and 18, thus enabling them to join leading international dance companies upon completing their studies. On the occasion of these October Imprevus, audiences will be given a glimpse of the training provided to these young students as they work their way towards joining some of the world’s top dance companies.
