Praised by the critics who competed with superlatives, The Great Tamer is a dreamy and, at the same time, chilling piece conceived by Dimitris Papaioannou. The stage director of the ceremonies of the 2004 Athens Olympics shows us ten artists, ten Circassians of the absurd, who present human life like a discovery, an exploration of hidden treasures, an internal archaeological dig... Here, human bodies become battlefields, they interact with raw materials, merge to become hybrid beings and give rise to optical illusions as terrifying as they are poignant.
