The Health Department of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo took part in the 34th annual conference of the IADMS, International Association for Dance Medicine & Science Health for Dancers, which took place in Rimini, Italy, from October 17 to 20 2024. This meeting brought together medical and scientific professionals working for the health of dancers.

Peter Lewton-Brain, head of the Department, and his team, presented the results of their study "Pirouettes et Pandémies" carried out at the request of Jean-Christophe Maillot: a study carried out on the physical, mental and social repercussions post Covid with 231 professional dancers around the world. This study aims to help companies better manage and support dancers in the event of a future period of isolation.
