In Volo

J-Ch. Maillot

Pas de deux created by Jean-Christophe Maillot for Alessandra Ferri and Ethan Stiefel, principal dancers of the American Ballet Theater in New-York, November 6, 1997 and danced in Monaco by Bernice Coppieters et Chris Roelandt, étoile and soloist of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo.

« The new tone of Maillot is at the same time derisive, sardonic, satirist (…) he plays with the right and left hemispheres of our brain, even managing to tranform a despicable situation into a amusing episode of human existence : the « inquisitor » looks of the other ». Jean-Marie Fiorucci, Nice-Matin
