1998
Mimoza Koike studied dance at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Lyon. An excellent student, she graduated from the school two years later.

2001 
She then joined the Young Ballet of the same Conservatoire performing choreographies by Maurice Béjart, George Balanchine, Félix Blaska, Abou Lagraa, Myriam Naisy, Christopher Wheeldon, Kurt Joss and Rudolph Nureyev.

2001-2003 
She joined the Ballet du Grand Théâtre of Geneva where she danced pieces by John Neumeier, George Balanchine, Giorgio Mancini, Lucinda Childs, William Forsythe, David Parsons, Nacho Duato and Michel Kéléménis.

2003 
She moved to Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo directed by Jean-Christophe Maillot who chose her to dance in Les Noces. The following year she appeared in Romeo & Juliet and in 2005, was promoted to principal soloist. Since then, Mimoza Koike has become a leading dancer at the Company, she danced ballets of Jean-Christophe Maillot's repertoire, he created roles for her. She danced in: Miniatures, Œil pour Œil (role of Iris), Le Songe (role of Titania), Cinderella (role of the Fairy and The Stepmother), La Belle (role of the Lilac Fairy), Opus 40, Dove La Luna, Vers un pays Sage, Altro Canto, Faust (role of Marguerite), Altro Canto II, Men’s Dance for Women, Scheherazade (role of Zobeide) and Lac (role of the Queen and Black Swan), Opus 50, Choré (the Secretary), Casse-noisette Compagnie (Dance Teacher), Entrelacs and Aleatorio.

Mimoza Koike is possessed of unusual artistic and technical qualities that mean she can perform a wide variety of roles, making her a popular dancer with choreographers. She has danced brilliantly in In Memoria by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Sinfonieta and Svadebka (Les Noces), Petit Mort, Gods and dogs and Bella Figura by Jiri Kylian, The Four Temperaments by George Balanchine, In the Middle, Second Detail and Artifact by William Forsythe, Walking Mad by Johan Inger, The Rite of Spring (role of the Chosen One) by Nijinsky, Le Pavillon d’Armide by Matjash Mozewski, Prince Igor by Mikhail Fokin, The Rite of Spring (role of the Chosen One) by Maurice Béjart and Le Corps de Ballet by Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten, Body Remix by Marie Chouinard, Blind Willow by I.C.
